Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a senior Electronics Engineer to join our Sensing and Communications Department in Groton, CT, with relocation provided. The role centers on analog and digital circuit design and the development of underwater maritime electrical systems.

You will design custom PCBs, supervise testing, mentor staff, and collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams. A EE degree (B.S./M.S./PhD) with microelectronics focus and 8+ years BSEE (or 5+ years MSEE, 4+ years PhD) is preferred, plus lab

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD in electrical engineering with focus in analog/digital circuit design.
• Experience designing and implementing custom PCBs for prototype R&D.
• Experience with mixed-signal PCBs, ADCs, DACs, MCUs, DC/DC converters, and digital comms protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design, integration, troubleshooting, production, and sustainment of complex electrical and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Design and testing of custom analog/digital PCBs.
• Travel to support exercises.
• Project leadership and technical communication.
• Mentor junior staff.
