Job summary

The Ed Wallach Search Group is seeking a senior-level Electronics Engineer located in Groton, CT, to join their Sensing and Communications Department. This role involves designing and integrating complex electrical and electro-mechanical systems, with a particular focus on custom analog and digital PCBs.

The ideal candidate will possess a BSEE or MSEE, extensive experience in PCB design, and a proven ability to work within multidisciplinary teams. Full relocation support is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• BSEE with 8+ years experience or MSEE with 5+ years or PhD with 4+ years.
• Extensive PCB design experience is essential.
• Experience working in small multidisciplinary teams required.

Responsibilities

• Design and integrate complex electrical systems.
• Support travel for exercises and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor junior staff in electronics design.

Skills

Designing complex, multi-layer, high-density PCBs

Experience with analog sensors, ADCs, and embedded processors

Troubleshooting printed circuit boards

Basic proficiency interfacing with Linux systems

Education

B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in microelectronics

PhD in Electrical Engineering
