Job summary

RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) team is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer for an on-site role in Tucson, AZ. You will lead MBSE-driven requirements, system modeling, and V&V activities, coordinating across Systems, Software, and Test teams to ensure mission-ready performance.

You will guide trade studies, mentor junior engineers, and engage with customers to articulate technical solutions and ensure first-time correctness of missile system software and integration work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 8+ years engineering experience.
• Experience in Systems Engineering.
• Experience in MBSE, requirements development, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain system and subsystem requirements for embedded software.
• Model system and processes using Cameo.
• Conduct trade studies and present results to customers.
• Support verification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, and Test teams on tasks.
• Mentor new team members.
