Neon Aerospace, located in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Senior Embedded Systems & Controls Software Engineer to lead the development of safety-critical aerospace systems. You will be responsible for architecting supervisory control across actuators, developing robust embedded software, and ensuring system-level integration and correctness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years building embedded control software for complex real-time systems.
• Experience designing system-level control logic, state machines, and sequencing.
• Hands-on experience with communication protocols such as CAN.

Responsibilities

• Architect supervisory control across various systems and components.
• Develop embedded software for real-time systems on safety-oriented MCUs.
• Drive model-based validation using MATLAB/Simulink.
