Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Camden, NJ. The role focuses on leading a software development team, translating requirements into solutions, and managing budgets and deadlines within the SDLC. The candidate will apply modern C++ in embedded contexts and coordinate with hardware teams.

The position requires DoD Secret clearance, a related engineering degree, and 10+ years of debugging experience on hardware targets. Onsite only with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship with an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer/ Electrical engineering or CS.
• 10+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware.

Responsibilities

• Lead software development team and manage project planning and budgets.
• Translate requirements into maintainable software solutions across the SDLC.
• Develop software using modern C++ standards and embedded architectures.
• Collaborate with hardware/software interfaces to optimize performance.
• Create test plans, document tests and ensure traceability across EVMS processes.
• Provide guidance as SME for embedded software development.
