Job summary

Talent Solutions Partners seeks a Technical Lead Software Engineer in Camden, NJ, onsite only, to lead a software development team and translate requirements into practical solutions across the full SDLC.

You will plan projects, assign budgets and tasks, coach engineers, and collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure robust embedded software systems, strict DoD security compliance, and rigorous testing.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 10 years of experience debugging applications on simulated and target hardware.
• Experience with RTOS such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a software development team with strong project management skills.
• Plan development, define budgets and tasks, track team status.
• Design with object-oriented methods and UML tools.
• Develop software using modern C and embedded systems.
• Provide SME guidance to engineers on embedded software.
• Investigate root causes and implement solutions across teams.
• Coordinate hardware-software interfaces and performance requirements.
• Support all SDLC phases from requirements to testing.
• Create software test plans and technical documentation.
