Job summary

Antech is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for veterinary diagnostic devices. You will contribute to on-device firmware, analytical algorithms, connectivity, GUI, DevOps, and manufacturing tools in a fast-growing team.

Requires 5+ years in software development, strong C++ OO skills, and experience with embedded Linux, Docker, GitLab CI, and cloud infra (AWS/Azure). Knowledge of IEC 62304 and cybersecurity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a similar field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum five (5) years professional software development experience.
• Demonstrated object-oriented C++ programming skill.
• Experience with embedded Linux development.
• Dev-Ops experience, including Docker, GitLab CI, and version control systems.
• AWS or Azure infrastructure management.
• Experience developing automated tests and using a mock framework.

Responsibilities

• Architect and write C++ code for embedded systems and toolsets.
• Conduct peer-reviews and technical assessments for robust solutions.
• Participate in project planning with technical inputs and progress evaluations.
• Mentor less experienced Software Engineers.
• Collaborate to develop software requirements, verification, and validation protocols.
