Job summary

Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom in Oshkosh, WI seeks an experienced engineer to design, test, and verify embedded control systems. You will develop and peer-review software, run comprehensive test plans, and assess performance, safety, and reliability of electronic platforms.

You will work with suppliers and internal customers, ensure compliance with CMMI level 3 processes, and prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations for vehicle-related projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer sciences with 5 years' experience, or a Master's with 2 years' experience.
• 5+ years programming embedded controllers in C/C++ and/or PLC languages such as Structured Text.
• 5+ years of experience with software testing, preferably with vehicle-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test plans to verify safety and reliability of electronic systems.
• Conduct testing across multiple platforms, in both simulation and real-world use cases.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, internal and external customers, and outside resources concerning technical subject matter.
• Develop and peer review software.
• Process engineering information through CMMI level 3 procedures and software safety process.
• Ensure that technical issues are conducted within the framework of company policies and procedures.
• Evaluate designs for performance, safety, and reliability.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations.
• Manage development of a system of moderate complexity. May be responsible for managing development of multiple systems.
