Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related STEM fields.
• 10+ years of embedded product software engineering experience or MS +7 years.
• Proficiency in Ada, C, C++, or equivalent languages.
• Experience in networking protocol development and embedded software/firmware.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance; relocation eligible.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and stakeholders to plan software functionality.
• Design and program modules or large components of embedded software.
• Define system, hardware, software, and human integration requirements.
• Plan and execute engineering tests, validation, and verification.
• Document tasks, designs, and follow software development methodologies.
• Verify software designs across simulations and flight tests.
• Implement protocols for resource-constrained environments and collaborate with hardware.
• Ensure robustness, resilience, and security for critical devices.
• Create design documentation, optimize applications, and add features.
• Participate in reviews, mentoring, and project planning throughout the lifecycle.
