Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of embedded systems development experience.
• Hands-on C/C++ and Python programming with production or prototype code.
• Strong MCU/ASW product experience and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to influence technical direction across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and validate embedded software for Microchip 8‑/32‑bit MCUs in C/C++.
• Define and drive early software products from concept to readiness.
• Embed secure-by-design methodologies aligning with CRA and security standards.
• Collaborate with QA and FuSa to ensure ASPICE/ISO 26262 compliance.
• Work with silicon design, firmware and security teams on architecture decisions.
• Support trade-off analyses for performance, power, safety and security.
• Participate in reviews, risk assessments and test planning.
• Contribute to documentation, specs and design guidelines.
