Lumicity is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for an on-site role in New York. You will design, develop, and test device control software at the driver and application level for a robotic system in the healthcare space.

You will collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate components across the full stack, emphasizing real-time performance, reliability, and safety-critical considerations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in medical devices, automotive, aerospace, or industrial control.
• Strong C/C++ and Python.
• Real-time systems, multithreading, PID-based control.
• Hardware comms: Ethernet, Serial, SPI, I2C.
• Pluses: ROS/YARP, MODBUS, CI/CD.
