Job summary
L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA seeks a Senior Specialist, Software Engineering to lead a software engineering team across design, implementation and system integration for power system architectures. Under minimal supervision, you will guide development through all stages of product creation for highly regulated government contracts.
You will interpret customer requirements, drive architecture decisions, and ensure quality and compliance while facilitating Agile sprint and Kanban processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years in design/analysis of systems software for power conversion equipment; MS preferred or 4+ years additional experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret/security clearance.
- Expertise in embedded real-time systems software design.
- Experience in embedded C/C++ programming.
Responsibilities
- Lead software engineer team across all stages of product development from design to integration.
- Interpret customer specifications to define software requirements.
- Document existing software to meet qualification standards for regulated government contracts.
- Provide software technical leadership for the team.
- Lead Agile sprint/Kanban practices with Jira-based workflow and deliverable tracking.
