Job summary

You will apply strong CS fundamentals, modular design, and testable implementations to deliver reliable software across products and releases, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in computer engineering or related field with 5+ years experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD with 0+ years.
• Strong foundation in operating systems, concurrency, memory management, data structures, algorithms, and computer architecture; proficiency in embedded C/C++.
• Experience debugging embedded/firmware/system-level issues using root-cause analysis, instrumentation, logs, lab tools, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience contributing to design, implementation, integration, validation, and release readiness in a hardware-dependent software environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and integrate embedded software changes in C/C++ to improve reliability, performance, manufacturability, and readiness for storage platform features.
• Apply strong CS fundamentals and modular design to deliver maintainable software across products and releases.
• Investigate and resolve development issues involving software-hardware interactions and firmware interfaces.
• Support defect closure from reproduction through corrective action, validation, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
• Contribute to design reviews, code reviews, debug strategy, and defect prevention practices.
