Ultra Maritime is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help develop next-generation commercial audio products for the naval sector. You will lead embedded software efforts and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and program management teams to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes self-management, problem-solving, and the ability to work across organizations on challenging defense programs. On-site opportunities in Indiana are available.

Formación

• 6+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
• High initiative and ability to self-manage.
• Experience with basic test equipment: Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers

Responsabilidades

• Work with electrical and mechanical engineers to roadmap next-generation commercial audio products.
• Provide embedded software development support for new and existing products.
• Define requirements, design software, write and test code, document efforts.
• Collaborate with Program Management and customer representatives.
• Attend bi-weekly software meetings.
• Travel to offsite government and non-government test facilities as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
