Job summary

SoloPulse Corp seeks a Product Software/Embedded Engineer to build robust software for embedded units and to own reliability, observability, and fault tolerance on real hardware. You will design low-latency pipelines and hardware interfaces, with a focus on secure updates and fleet-wide telemetry.

The role requires 6+ years shipping embedded software, strong C/C++, Python skills, and RTOS/embedded experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of demonstrated experience shipping production embedded software across real fleets (e.g., >10 deployed units).
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Embedded and real-time systems experience with performance tuning under hard constraints.
• Experience with update, logging, fault recovery, and test.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance; U.S. person required.

Responsibilities

• Engineering production embedded software interfacing with hardware (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, SDRs, sensors) and with real-world failure modes.
• Build deterministic, low-latency data pipelines for radar/RF data.
• Implement fleet-wide concerns: secure/OTA updates, logging, telemetry, observability, fault detection, graceful degradation, recovery.
• Develop CI/CD for embedded, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and automated target hardware regression.
• Field debug, root-cause analysis, and maintaining traceability across deployed units.
• Enhance security and reliability for constrained and adversarial environments.
