Job summary

SoloPulse Corp, located in Atlanta, GA, seeks an experienced engineer to design and bring up complete radar hardware/software systems, including RF sensors, SDRs, embedded computers, GPUs, and networking. You will develop interfaces, drivers, and data acquisition software to enable reliable, real-time data streaming into a custom software system.

The role requires hands-on hardware work, reading schematics, and integrating multiple sensors into high-throughput, low-latency pipelines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 4+ years of demonstrated experience building and integrating complex hardware/software systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals: architecture, concurrency, memory, networking, testing.

Responsibilities

• Designing and bringing up complete hardware/software systems involving radar, RF sensors, SDRs, embedded computers, GPUs, networking, and other specialized hardware
• Developing software interfaces to communicate with sensors and hardware, including drivers and acquisition software
• Taking unfamiliar hardware from bring-up through reliable data streaming into a custom software system
• Reading schematics and datasheets, using lab equipment, and performing basic electronics work as needed
• Designing high-throughput, low-latency data paths between sensors, embedded processors, GPUs, and downstream systems
• Integrating multiple sensors and subsystems into real-time systems with proper timing and data flow
• Developing software for custom interfaces and experimental hardware configurations
• Reading hardware documentation and understanding signal chains and system tradeoffs
• Developing tools and test infrastructure for bring-up, data collection, and testing
• Developing diagnostics, logging, telemetry, and health monitoring
• Rapid prototyping to evaluate new sensors or interfaces
