SteveRecruiter, LLC seeks a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the Los Angeles area for a hybrid role (minimum 3 on-site days: Mon, Wed, Thu). The engineer will work on radios, MAC/Routing, security, and Linux-based systems across ARM and RISC-V platforms.

Requirements include a BS in EE or CS, 5+ years in embedded software, and strong C and Linux kernel experience. U.S. citizen status is required for government contracts; background checks apply.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsabilidades

• Implement MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk voice applications.
• Improve product security to meet standards like NIST FIPS 140-3 and NIAP Common Criteria.
• Create testing software for product performance and reliability.
• Develop device drivers and BSPs for ARM and RISC-V systems.
• Linux system customization and scripting.
