Responsibilities include implementing MAC and routing protocols, network management, security algorithms, audio streaming, and Linux-based BSP tasks, with a background in federal contracting

Qualifications

5+ years of embedded system software development experience.
Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
Expertise in C programming and Linux kernel driver development.

Responsibilities

Implementation of software portion of MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
Network management software and web interface implementation.
Implementation of security protocols and encryption algorithms.
Audio streaming and push to talk voice application implementation.
Analyze and improve product security and robustness to meet regulatory requirements (e.g., NIST FIPS 140-3, NIAP Common Criteria).
Testing software for product performance and reliability testing.
Device driver and BSP development and maintenance for ARM and RISC-V based systems.
Linux system customization and scripting.
