Sora Resource Group is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days onsite per week. You will work on radios, networking functions, encryption, and security features, including device drivers and Linux-based systems for ARM and RISC-V platforms.

Responsibilities include MAC and MANET routing, security protocol implementation, audio streaming, and reliability testing, with a focus on regulatory compliance such as NIST FIPS 140-3 and

Qualificações

• Requires a BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded software development experience.
• Expertise in C and Linux kernel driver development.
• U.S. citizenship required due to government contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Implement software for MAC and mobile ad-hoc networking routing protocols.
• Develop network management software and web interfaces.
• Implement security protocols and encryption algorithms.
• Develop audio streaming and push-to-talk applications.
• Analyze and improve product security to meet FIPS 140-3 and NIAP criteria.
• Develop testing software for performance and reliability.
• Driver and BSP development for ARM and RISC-V platforms.
• Linux system customization and scripting.
