Job summary

Viasat is seeking a software engineer to join the Access Edge Terminal Software team. You will design, develop and deliver embedded software for satellite terminal products across aviation, maritime, residential and other sectors, operating in an agile environment.

You will collaborate with multiple software teams and act as an individual contributor while striving for high quality and timely delivery. Travel up to 10% may be involved.

Qualifications

5–7 years of hands-on software development experience.
Bachelor's in computer science, computer engineering, or software engineering.
Experience using C/C++, Linux and embedded systems.
Proven experience with Linux/UNIX.
Object-oriented development experience.
Strong analytical skills and ownership.
Excellent communication skills.
US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities
