Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer for Laser Mesh Routing (Starlink) in Palo Alto. You will develop highly reliable real-time software to determine beams for optimal low-latency, high-bandwidth satellite connections, and participate in architecture reviews.

You will be responsible for the complete software lifecycle, from development to testing and support, with a strong emphasis on delivering impact for global connectivity and space technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or STEM and 5+ years of software development experience; OR 7+ years of professional software development in lieu of a degree.
• Development experience in assembly, C, or C++.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, real-time software for beam formation and routing in Starlink network.
• Lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
