Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's, 3 with a Master's, or a PhD with relevant experience
• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Architecture, or related field
• Senior-level proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python and embedded systems understanding
• Experience with implementation best practices, modern design methods and Git workflows
• Proven ability as an individual contributor on high-performing multidisciplinary teams
• Understanding of low-level processor architectures, OS design, and hardware interfacing
• Experience with RTOS, POSIX, Linux/BSD environments; willing to mentor juniors
• Minimum 80% on-site work at MITRE or government locations; ability to obtain TS clearance
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, test, document, and debug embedded software systems (C/C++)
