Job summary

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• 5–8 years of relevant embedded software experience.
• Expert in Python, C, C++11 and OpenCL for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Write and test software to support integration of sensors and embedded processors into aircraft or robotic systems.
• Design and implement software for prototypes using AeroVironment tools and ensure configuration control.
• Support hardware selection and validation testing of software and assist with system requirements.
• Develop in rapid prototype contexts and estimate development milestones.
• Provide updates and milestones to project management to meet timelines.
• Troubleshoot complex systems from software perspective and support flight tests.
• Assist in production transition and participate in multi-disciplinary teams.
