Job summary

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer at CACI International Inc. works with intelligence operators to optimize a government-owned analytic capability at the point of use.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred.
• 10+ years in operational intelligence or related software support roles.
• Ability to configure, troubleshoot, and adapt fielded capability with users in real time.
• Ability to work independently at a customer site with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical audiences and dispersed teams.
• Willingness to relocate or work extended assignments at mission locations, including OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with on-site analysts to understand mission and create software solutions that streamline workflows.
• Design and develop software interfacing with existing analytic tools to increase data value.
• Catalog all generated software for enterprise baseline integration when needed.
• Develop proficiency in analytic tradecraft to translate operator problems into technical terms.
• Provide on-site integration, configuration, workflow automation, and troubleshooting support.
• Diagnose problems on-site and commit to a resolution path within 48 hours.
• Document observed use cases and report them into the capability roadmap on a defined cadence.
