ADTRAN, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead architecture, design, anddevelopment of embedded Ethernet products. You will own major features, translate requirements into software solutions, and guide a team across disciplines in a SAFe environment.

Responsibilities include designing embedded Linux components, drivers, and bootloaders, while mentoring peers and collaborating with hardware and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable software throughout full product life cycles.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Science or equivalent education required.
• Typically requires 8+ years of professional embedded software development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Linux development environments and performance analysis.
• Strong understanding of embedded software architecture, multithreading, and memory management.
• Experience with Embedded Linux kernel and device driver development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead architecture, design, development, and lifecycle maintenance of embedded software.
• Designs and develops embedded software applications including kernel, drivers, bootloaders, and higher level apps.
• Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable code and document technical work.
• Collaborate across hardware, FPGA, product teams and systems engineering.
