Job summary
Ethernovia, Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer to lead the development of its device drivers and software stack.
You will work on embedded firmware and kernel/user mode drivers for Linux and AUTOSAR, enabling the host system to leverage hardware capabilities for safe, automotive-grade applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across product and engineering, contributing to architecture, testing, and integration of drivers for Ethernet-based
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field.
- Work Experience: 6+ years
- Proficient in C/C++ with strong OS and driver development.
- Experience with Linux, QNX or Real Time Operating System.
- Experience with Software Device Drivers, preferably Ethernet.
- Hands-on experience with Hardware and embedded processors.
- Firmware experience for communication devices.
- Nice to have AUTOSAR/MCAL experience; MISRA/ASPICE/ISO26262 knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, implement, test and integrate device drivers into Ethernovia’s SDK.
- Develop kernel/user mode drivers for Linux/QNX/RTOS environments.
- Ensure safety-critical automotive readiness and robust testing practices.
