Job summary

Precision Power Solutions (PPS) is a specialized division of EnerSys, focused on high-performance embedded software for aerospace, defense and medical applications. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain robust software for advanced hardware systems, leveraging C++, embedded Linux, and Yocto to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
Proven track record of developing software for embedded devices and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software using C++ for multiple platforms.
Work with Yocto Project to build custom Linux distributions for embedded systems.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software with electronics hardware and power systems.
Write modular, high-quality code following best practices and standards.
Optimize software for performance, reliability, and power efficiency.
Participate in system architecture discussions and help select hardware/software platforms.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
