Job summary

Antech in Loveland, CO, is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain embedded software for veterinary diagnostic devices. Focus areas include on-device firmware, analytical algorithms, connectivity, GUI, and DevOps tooling within a fast-growing medical device setting.

Requirements include at least five years of professional software development, strong C++ and embedded Linux experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with embedded Linux development and C++ programming.

Responsibilities

• Architect and write C++ code for embedded systems.
• Conduct peer-reviews and technical assessments to ensure robust solutions and quality procedures.
• Participate in project planning with technical inputs and progress evaluations.
• Mentor less experienced Software Engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop software requirements, verification and validation.
• Support manufacturing tools and customer-facing software.
