Job summary
Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Embedded Software Engineer II/III for the Next-Generation Avionics (NGA) Flight Displays. The role focuses on design, development and verification of Core Displays on the Anthem NGA platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance avionics software.
You will work with C/C++, Python, OpenGL and Vulkan, contribute to the full software lifecycle, and advance technologies shaping modern cockpits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Software, or Computer Science.
- Embedded software development experience ~1.5–2+ years (Eng II), 4–5 years (Eng III).
- Proficiency in programming languages C/C++, Python, OpenGL, Vulkan.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, integrate and verify Core Displays on the Anthem NGA platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust Flight Display Systems.
- Create test cases from system and software requirements.
- Participate in the full software lifecycle from concept to verification.
- Ensure high performance, reliability of avionics software.
- Stay current with avionic tech and software engineering practices.
