Job summary

XDIN, a subsidiary of ALTEN Group, offers 500 engineers focused on automotive engineering development. This opportunity is based in Greensboro, NC, supporting OEM and Tier I clients with world-class design and production readiness.

Responsibilities include breaking down electrical system requirements, writing hardware and software specs, and ensuring compliance with automotive standards while collaborating across multisite teams to meet milestones and roadmaps.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical/electronics engineering or similar required.
Experience with embedded systems and automotive electronics development.
Software development (HMI, C/C++) is a plus.
Experience in agile environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Breaks down electrical system requirements to component level and writes detailed software specs.
Writes hardware and software requirements including microcontrollers, CAN/LIN, I/O, and PCB aspects.
Interprets and implements automotive standards and regulatory guidelines for NA market.
Performs bench/smoke tests and supports testing teams across supplier and internal groups.
Maintains component roadmaps and part numbers across truck variants.
Plans milestones and cost estimates from concept to start of serial production.
