Radiation Team is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer in the Boulder, CO area to lead development of embedded software for aerospace applications. You will work on prototypes and production systems, collaborating with hardware engineers on bring-up, testing, and integration of high-reliability electronics.

Responsibilities include implementing firmware, developing automated tests, and ensuring robust software through code reviews and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
• Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, or low-level software concepts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software and firmware systems.
• Lead automated test software and software infrastructure development.
• Oversee hardware bring-up, debugging, and system integration activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, test, and radiation engineers for validation and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation of software design, development, and testing activities.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions.
