Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to develop and maintain software for our autonomous driving compute platform. You will work on sensor drivers, middleware, diagnostics, perception, planning and control modules, ensuring high quality and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on AUTOSAR Classic experience, Aurix or similar MCUs, RTOS, and the ability to integrate and validate software within an agile team focused on ADAS/AD features.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of work experience preferred
  • Proven excellence in embedded C programming and real-time systems

Your Role:
  • Implement efficient and robust software for our embedded autonomous driving compute platform, such as sensor drivers, middleware components, diagnostics, perception/planning/control modules, and ADAS/AD customer features
  • Optimize performance, safety and security of the software using state-of-the art algorithms and dedicated hardware components
  • Integrate, test and validate software components to ensure the required high software quality level and conformity to industry standards
  • Be part of a fast-paced, highly motivated agile team developing cutting-edge ADAS/AD customer features!
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated excellence in C programming skills in the embedded context
  • Experience with real-time operating systems, micro-controllers and their standard peripheral components
  • A proven track record of developing and delivering AUTOSAR compliant software for embedded devices or controllers
  • Proficiency in Classic AUTOSAR stack and familiarity with an AUTOSAR configuration tools
  • Experience in AUTOSAR configuration tools like EB Tresos, DaVinci Configurator, DaVinci Developer etc
  • Hands on knowledge of AUTOSAR Classic on various layers - MCAL/BSW/CDD/RTE/Applications etc
  • Experience in working on Aurix or any other advanced micro controllers.
  • knowledge of automotive diagnostics - UDS, DoIP, etc
Preferred Qualifications :
  • Experience with board bring-up
  • Experience in working on Aurix or any other advanced micro controllers.
  • Experience in reading schematics and data sheets
  • Experience in debugging of low-level embedded projects - Lauterbach, iSystem etc
  • Knowledge of automotive vehicle communication networks, such as CAN, CAN-FD, Ethernet, LIN
  • Experience with scripting tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities
  • Experience with testing techniques, e.g. unit, HIL, SIL testing
  • Experience in Functional Safety (FuSa) and ISO 26262
  • Knowledge of MISRA C/C++ rules and automotive SPICE
  • knowledge of ASPICE, V-Model, functional safety topics
Education:
  • BS minimum in the areas of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other related fields
  • Ideally 5+ years of work experience
