Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
• Solid experience in C programming.
• Strong understanding of RTOS fundamentals.

• Experience with Lauterbach, oscilloscope, JTAG, and flashing tools.
• Experience with Python and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of SPI, I2C, Ethernet, PCIe interfaces and board bring-up.
• Understanding OS internals (schedulers, memory, concurrency).
• Experience with embedded toolchains (compilers, linkers).

Job description

• Design, develop, and deploy embedded software on Linux and/or RTOS for board bring-up, verification, and debugging of automotive electronics


• Provide software stacks for design verification of PCBAs and ECUs for current and next-generation vehicle platforms, including autonomy, infotainment, and vehicle controls


• Write device drivers for PCBA components


• Develop software prototypes for early hardware and software co-designs


• Create validation test cases in Python and C


• Develop SDKs


• Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver quality code, debug issues, prioritize work, and execute efficiently


• Debug in real time across the software and hardware stack to identify issues and provide solutions


• Communicate with peers, stakeholders, customers, and technical leaders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field


• Experience in C programming


• Good understanding of RTOS fundamentals


• Good debugging skills with an ability to work across organizations and teams


• Experience using Lauterbach, oscilloscope, JTAG, and flashing tools


• Experience with scripting languages, including Python and shell


• Good understanding of interface protocol stacks such as SPI, I2C, Ethernet, and PCIe, and board bring-up


• Knowledge of OS internals, including process scheduler, memory management, concurrency, synchronization, and storage


• Experience using electronic test equipment for hardware-level debugging


• Experience with embedded toolchains, including compilers, linkers, and linker scripts
