Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of device drivers, BSPs, multi threading, multi core systems, or bare metal development.
• Experience with hardware and FPGA integration is highly desirable.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, medical, or other mission critical environments.
• US Citizenship is required

Salary: $170K to $185K Base + 15% Bonus + Relocation Assistance + Full Benefits

Job Location: Grand Rapids, MI

We are looking for an experienced Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join a team developing mission critical embedded software and firmware for advanced technologies and systems.

This is a hands on engineering opportunity where you will architect, design, develop, integrate, debug, and test embedded software while working closely with customers, hardware engineers, FPGA engineers, and cross functional teams.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of embedded software engineering experience
• Strong hands on C or C++ development experience
• Experience with real time systems and RTOS such as Linux, FreeRTOS, QNX, or VxWorks
• Experience with embedded software development, debugging, integration, and testing
• Knowledge of device drivers, BSPs, multi threading, multi core systems, or bare metal development
