Job summary

CircuitHire is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design and deliver class-leading products for Space and defense applications. You will own end-to-end embedded software development, from drivers to user-space applications, across multiple layers.

Ideal candidates have strong C++ and Embedded Linux experience, with knowledge of TCP/IP/UDP networking. Space/aerospace or safety-critical domain exposure is a plus, and U.S. citizens or permanent residents are preferred for government contracts.

Embedded Software Engineer (C++ / Embedded Linux)

A fast-growing and highly successful communications technology company is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to help design and deliver class-leading products for Space and defense applications.

This is a rare opportunity to work on true end-to-end development, with real technical ownership and impact across the full product lifecycle.

You’ll play a key role across all layers of embedded software development, from low-level drivers and embedded application software

You'd work closely with a small cross-functional team including Electrical Engineers and FPGA designers, taking products from initial customer requirements through to production and customer integration.

This would suit someone who wants to work on complex, mission critical projects, where your contributions directly shape the final product.

Key Skills

• Strong proficiency in C++ for embedded systems
• Experience with Embedded Linux (user-space development)

Compensation

• Base salary: $140,000 – $210,000 (depending on level hired), plus additional compensation
