Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced and motivated embedded software engineer to work on automotive compute platforms. You will collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to build cutting-edge automotive systems.

1. Define system functionality with Electrical Engineering (EE) engineers.
2. Develop driver and application software on MCU and SoC.
3. Analyze and triage low-level system issues.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) with 5+ years of industry experience.
• Familiarity with ARM architecture and ARM-based SoCs.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX/QNX/FreeBSD.
• Experience with MCU software development, such as Atmel samv7, STM32, Infineon TC series, FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, or AutoSAR.
• Deep understanding of communication protocols like TCP/IP, UDP, PTP, Multicast, and knowledge of network switches and routers.
• Proficiency in software design and development using C, C++, Python, etc.
• Experience with HW/SW co-design and high-speed communication interfaces.
• Proficiency in debugging embedded systems, familiar with SPI, UARTs, JTAG, and oscilloscopes.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of mainstream SoC BSP/SW development, such as Nvidia Orin, T.I. TDA series, Qualcomm Snapdragon, Horizon Robotics.
• Experience with CAN communication protocols.
• Experience with Automotive Ethernet standards.
• Experience with imager bring-up or familiarity with ISP pipelines, drivers, and tunings.
• Familiarity with sensors used in autonomous driving, such as Camera, Lidar, Radar, and Ultrasonics.

Compensation and Benefits

Base Salary Range: $160,000 - $220,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and stock units.
