Job summary

Themesoft Inc. is seeking a Senior Embedded Firmware Developer for an onsite role in Englewood, CO.

You will design, develop, and maintain firmware for WiFi 6/6E/7 gateway platforms deployed at large scale, driving architecture-level decisions and leading complex debugging efforts. Candidates should have 5-8+ years of Embedded Linux experience, strong OpenWrt skills, and deep knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, and WiFi technologies.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of Embedded Linux development in C/C++.
• OpenWrt development including packages, feeds, Kconfig, patch management.
• TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, MAP-T, routing protocols (RIPv2, OSPF).
• WiFi 6/6E/7 (802.11ax/be) technologies.
• Qualcomm IPQ and/or Broadcom platforms.
• Advanced kernel panic debugging, watchdogs, memory leaks, performance issues.
• Python and Shell scripting.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong Git/GitLab workflow knowledge.

We have an onsite requirement for a highly experienced Senior Embedded Firmware Developer to support a major broadband networking program in Denver (Englewood), Colorado.

We are looking for strong candidates with extensive hands‑on experience in embedded Linux, OpenWrt, networking protocols, and WiFi technologies.

• Role: Senior Embedded Firmware Developer

• Target Pay Rate: $60/hr
• Experience: 5-8+ Years
• Interview Mode: Webex/Video Interview followed by onsite interview.

Job Summary

The role requires deep technical expertise, architecture-level thinking, leadership capabilities, and collaboration across firmware, cloud, test, and vendor teams.

Mandatory Skills

We are looking for strong experience in MOST of the following areas:

• 5-8+ years of Embedded Linux development using C/C++
• OpenWrt development including packages, feeds, Kconfig, and patch management
• TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, MAP-T, routing protocols (RIPv2, OSPF)
• WiFi 6/6E/7 (802.11ax/be) technologies
