Colossus Technologies Group in the United States is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead to architect and build low-level platform software for safety- and mission-critical systems. You'll work closely with hardware, systems, and software teams while helping set technical direction for the platform, including secure boot, board bring-up, and hardware security reviews.

The role demands hands-on coding in C/C++, debugging with JTAG and logic analyzers, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Extensive embedded systems and firmware development experience.
• Strong C/C++ and low-level programming skills.
• Experience with secure boot, bootloaders, and embedded/platform security.
• Hands-on board bring-up and processor initialization experience.
• Good understanding of SoCs, memory interfaces, and hardware abstraction.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes).
• Experience providing technical or architectural leadership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop embedded firmware and low-level platform software.
• Implement secure boot, bootloaders, and trusted execution.
• Perform board bring-up, processor initialization, and driver development.
• Debug complex hardware/software interactions.
