Qualifikationen

• BS, MS, or equivalent degree in Computer/Software Engineering, CS or similar field.
• 10+ years' experience in embedded software development in medical device or regulated industry.
• Lead role with track record of successful software delivery and leadership style.
• Strong ability to create clear technical narratives and diagrams for varied audiences.
• Significant experience with embedded Linux development on SoMs, especially Yocto Project/BSP.
• Deep expertise in embedded software architecture, design, implementation, integration, and test using C/C++.
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS-based systems, device drivers, interprocess communications.
• Experience with communication protocols; GUI frameworks; automated builds/CI/CD; cybersecurity.
• Experience creating reusable software components and influencing engineering practices.

Aufgaben

• Apply expert knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA IEC 62304) and cybersecurity in software development.
• Identify high technical and program risks early; evaluate alternatives and communicate recommendations.
• Lead requirements, architecture design, and technical decisions across software-driven medical devices.
• Provide detailed estimates for milestones and ensure delivery within scope, time, and budget.
• Break down software functionality iteratively, guiding architecture, design, and testing in agile workflows.
• Lead and mentor a software team through planning, delegation, and execution coordination.
• Design, implement, and test project code; debug complex system issues and integration challenges.
• Ensure architectural integrity, code quality, and robustness of software artifacts.
• Drive software process improvements and reusable platforms across projects.
• Advise clients and cross-functional teams on high-impact technical decisions.
