The role requires 8+ years in embedded software, strong C/C++, RTOS and embedded Linux experience, plus leadership with mentoring and code reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in embedded software development.
• 3+ years writing high reliability real-time embedded software in C/C++.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded software applications for medical devices.
• Architect software services and device integration focusing on modularity and maintainability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to define system requirements.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, promoting code quality and best practices.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and implement testing strategies for software functionality and performance.
• Stay abreast of embedded system trends to drive innovation within the team.
• Document and share knowledge on software designs, processes, and testing procedures.
