You will design, implement, and optimize embedded firmware and device software, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that customers rely on daily.

The role emphasizes system architecture, hands-on development on ARM-based platforms, and mentoring peers.

Qualifications

5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
5+ years of programming with at least one programming language (C/C++/Java).
5+ years of design or architecture leadership for systems.
Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
Experience in cameras, sensors and related algorithms.
Embedded software design on ARM-based platforms.
Strong fundamentals: OO design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for system architecture and development of new features for embedded systems.
Investigate, prototype and deliver new and innovative system solutions.
Design, develop and verify firmware for embedded systems.
Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation.
Work with new technologies vital to product development.
Deliver investigation plans and reports, architecture docs, design specs, source code, build scripts.
Build expertise in core wireless technologies - WiFi, Bluetooth.
Perform debugging, bring-up, beta and production software development.
Collaborate with software and hardware product teams.
