Job summary

Handshake is seeking experienced embedded systems and RF engineers to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. This is not a traditional job you will draw on hands-on industry experience in embedded systems, firmware, DSP, or RF and wireless design to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI reason like a practicing embedded or RF engineer.

This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current role.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (BS accepted with strong experience)
• 5+ years hands-on embedded, DSP, or RF work in industry; 15-20 years ideal
• Depth in embedded firmware, real-time, DSP, RF/antenna or wireless design

Responsibilities

• Create expert-level engineering problems and scenarios grounded in embedded, DSP, and RF workflows
• Review AI-generated responses for technical accuracy and feasibility
• Provide structured written feedback to improve AI model performance
• Complete tasks at your own pace with no minimum hour requirement
