You will help extend the dV5 embedded network across OSI layers and apply deep understanding to new surgical robotic systems. You will drive end-to-end feature development from concept to requirements, implementation, testing, and verification, in a focused, high-energy environment that values first

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related engineering field with multiple years of industry experience
• Strong OSI networking knowledge across all 7 layers and TCP/IP stack internals
• Deep experience in C/C++ for embedded systems development
• Experience with Linux and embedded RTOS environments
• Experience with high-speed networking software and driver development
• Familiarity with tools like JTAG, GDB, and protocol analyzers

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features across the embedded network stack
• Develop and optimize Layer 2/3 software and network configuration
• Lead board bring-up activities and interface with hardware teams
• Debug complex hardware-software networking issues and triage race conditions
• Triage, root cause, and resolve field networking issues with cross-functional teams
• Interface with Application Development, Algorithms, FPGA, Electrical, Clinical and Manufacturing teams
