Job summary

Stealth AI Startup in Irvine, California, is seeking a Senior Embedded ML Engineer to tackle a cross-stack role from embedded systems to ML compiler/runtime. Your code ships in silicon-adjacent production software, not slideware, and you will report to the Manager of Software Engineering.

The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of software experience, expert C++ and Python, and ML or compiler exposure (MLIR/LLVM a plus). You will collaborate across the U.S., Europe, and India to drive delivery.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Strong experience with CMake, Make, and Git.
• Experience with embedded and systems software, memory-constrained environments.
• ML and/or compiler experience; MLIR/LLVM a plus.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship production embedded and systems software in C++ and Python.
• Contribute across the ML compiler and runtime stack (MLIR/LLVM) and support bring-up of new models on novel hardware.
• Drive assigned tasks independently from design through delivery, with high ownership and visibility.
• Own build, test, and CI workflows (CMake, Make, Git).
• Collaborate with hardware, product management, and engineering teams across the U.S., Europe, and India.
