Stealth AI Startup in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to help develop the runtime and systems software enabling ML models to run efficiently on edge processors.

You will own production C++ components, build APIs, optimize performance, and collaborate with compiler, embedded, hardware, and ML teams to push the platform forward.

Join an established edge-AI semiconductor company building the software platform behind its next generation of intelligent hardware.

We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to help develop the runtime and systems software that enables machine-learning models to execute efficiently on specialized edge-AI processors.

This role is well suited for an engineer with a strong background in C++, systems software, embedded development, high-performance computing, or accelerator software. Direct experience with machine learning or compilers is valuable, but it is not required if you have strong systems fundamentals and an interest in learning.

What You’ll Do

• Develop production C++ components for an edge-AI runtime and software stack
• Build APIs and software layers connecting applications, models, and specialized hardware
• Optimize software for performance, memory usage, latency, and reliability
• Support the execution and integration of new machine-learning models
• Investigate and resolve issues across software, firmware, and hardware
• Develop Python utilities for testing, validation, automation, and model workflows
• Collaborate with compiler, embedded, hardware, and machine-learning engineers
• Contribute to technical architecture and design decisions
• Improve build, test, release, and continuous-integration processes
• Own assigned features from development through production delivery

What We’re Looking For

• Embedded Linux or firmware experience
• Understanding of neural-network operations, quantization, or model optimization
• CMake, Make, Git, and CI/CD experience
