Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with embedded operating systems.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products; 1 year in design/architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux kernel drivers from scratch for USB controllers and Type-C controllers used in Pixel products.
• Identify cross-Product Area USB features to improve user experience.
• Merge USB solutions into Linux upstream for long-term maintainability across generations.
• Investigate scalable USB software architectures and influence SoC design when needed.
• Abstract hardware interfaces to Android userspace (HAL) and Android framework layers.
