Job summary

ADT is seeking an experienced embedded Linux software engineer to design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software and firmware for platform components, hardware interfaces, and integrations. You will own build, test, and release processes and work across engineering teams to deliver reliable production software.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree or equivalent, strong C/C++ embedded Linux development, Buildroot experience, and familiarity with firmware releases and automated build

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on C/C++ embedded Linux development.
• Practical Buildroot experience.
• Experience with firmware releases, automated embedded build and release pipelines, and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain embedded Linux software and firmware, including platform components, hardware interfaces, and integrations.
• Own and improve build, test, and release processes, investigate failures, and collaborate across engineering teams to deliver reliable production software.
