Job summary

Mach Industries in Los Angeles is seeking an Embedded Autonomy Engineer to own the Linux mission computer, integrating cameras, sensors, and the autonomy stack in flight.

You will bring up Jetson-class compute, optimize the sensor-to-GPU path, and ensure real-time performance under SWaP and thermal constraints. Experience with Yocto/L4T, CUDA/TensorRT, and kernel bring-up is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded Linux development on custom hardware with kernel bring-up.
• Camera/sensor integration on Linux: MIPI CSI, V4L2, and SerDes; sensor-to-memory path ownership.
• Fluency in C, C++, Bash, and Python; Yocto or L4T-based builds.

Responsibilities

• Own bring-up and lifecycle of the Linux mission computer: BSPs, device trees, kernel config, bootloaders on NVIDIA Jetson/Tegra and similar SoCs.
• Integrate high-bandwidth sensors into Linux end-to-end; manage time-sync and calibration across the sensor suite.
• Build and optimize the real-time sensor-to-GPU data path feeding perception, localization, and inference.
