Job summary

TEKsystems in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Sr. Hardware Engineer Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership across embedded hardware design and product lifecycle.

You will drive circuit design, PCB reviews, and production support while partnering with cross‑functional teams to ensure quality, manufacturability, and compliance. The role covers analog, digital, mixed‑signal, power, and MCU designs with extensive collaboration with Firmware, Mechanical, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of embedded hardware from concept through production.
• Oversee analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, sensor, wireless, and MCU-based hardware design.
• Conduct prototype bring-up, testing, debug, and design validation.
• Support production with manufacturing issues, pilot builds, and design changes.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain on components and cost reduction.
• Act as senior escalation point for hardware issues and field failures.
• Coordinate with Quality on documentation, CAPA, ISO 9001 and regulatory certifications.
• Provide mentoring and direction to engineering team members.
• Work with Firmware, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and Operations to prioritize issues.
