Job summary

The Josef Group is seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer in Chantilly/Arlington, VA to design, develop, and test embedded systems. The role requires strong hardware background, Rust experience, and familiarity with firmware development.

Responsibilities include hardware integration, low-level Rust software, bring-up, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration. A TS/SCI clearance (or CI/FSP) is required to begin work at Top Secret level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of embedded hardware engineering experience.
• Experience programming in Rust.
• Familiarity with embedded firmware development.
• Experience with microcontrollers and communication protocols.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
